Description

The Microsoft Project Level 1 course is the first in a two-part series designed for individuals who will use the program as a tool that assists them in managing projects. The topics in this course cover the critical skills necessary to create and modify a project plan file with tasks, resources and resource assignments. Students will create a project plan file containing tasks, organize these tasks in a work breakdown structure containing task relationships, create and assign resources and finalize the project in order to implement the project plan.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Create a work breakdown structure
  • Organize tasks and setting task relationships
  • Assign project resources
  • Finalize the project plan file

Prerequisites:

Before taking this course, students should have a basic understanding of Windows, including how to use files and folders.
