Introduction to Personal Computers Overview

Microsoft Windows 7 is the latest release of Microsoft Windows. Windows 7 is a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, netbooks and tablet PCs. In these courses students will understand basic account and networking concepts and know how to perform basic Windows 7 tasks. Specifically, they will be able to log on to Windows 7, explore the desktop, use the Start menu, use the Windows Taskbar, explore the Control Panel, find information about their computer system and update Windows system files.

Windows 7 Level 1 will teach you how to log on to Windows 7, explore its interface, identify the different components in the interface, customize the Windows 7 desktop, manage files and folders, use the common tools and programs available in Windows 7, and browse the Internet.

Windows 7 Level 2 is designed to provide you with skills that will help you manage some of the advanced tasks available in Windows 7.
